WESTERN
LONG-NECKED
or OBLONG TURTLES

Call us biased but we think our Australian turtles are amongst some of the best looking in the world, particularly WA’s own Chelodina oblonga.

Chelodina oblonga (pronunced, KE-loh-DEE-nah ob-LONG-ah) are also called western long necked turtles, snake necked turtles, or oblong turtles as they don’t have round shells like most turtles.
